This study examines the most significant issues related to vegetarianism, starting from the history of its emergence and concluding with the choice of an optimal diet for various population categories. The main reasons why modern progressive individuals become vegetarians are revealed, expressing their attitude towards solving major human problems such as environmental protection, world hunger, and degenerative diseases. Furthermore, the hearts of many people will undoubtedly be touched by the question of animal rights, which is raised for the first time.
