As the princess of the sun fairies, Opal did everything she could to help her kingdom withstand the battle against the Crimson people. But her parents chose a future for her that she was unwilling to accept. Fleeing the castle to find solace in solitude, Opal had no idea she would encounter a fate they all desperately hoped to avoid. She was found by the king of the wolves – more beast than man; a tyrant rather than a just ruler. He was much, much more than he appeared. But by the time Opal realized this, it was already too late… For her people. For her family. For herself. Opal's fears, her pain, her hatred for the bloodthirsty ruler and his atrocities – all dissolved like stardust in the night sea. However, it didn't matter, for to save the sun people, the cruel king must be defeated. Even if her heart shatters along with him.
