Y: The Last Man. Volume 1

In 2002, the world changed forever. Everywhere on Earth, all men and boys, all mammals with a Y chromosome suddenly fell and died. Due to the death of more than half of humanity, the gears of society came to a halt. Now, women face the task of piecing the world back together and saving civilization from total collapse. The “gendercide,” however, turned out not to be entirely total. A young man, Yorick Brown, and his pet capuchin monkey Ampersand survived.
Thus begins an extraordinary journey: the two last bearers of the Y chromosome attempt to uncover the mystery of the epidemic that destroyed other men and to preserve the future of humanity.
