There is a connection! The story of the first handshake between the USSR and the USA in space.

In these memoirs, co-written with Michael Cassutt, Thomas Stafford recounts his early successes as a test pilot. About his «handshake in space», which proved to the whole world that two opposing countries can successfully work together. Stafford's Apollo-Soyuz team was the first group of Americans to work at the cosmonaut training center, as well as the first to visit Baikonur. Currently, Stafford continues to play a leadership role, participating in the design and evaluation of the spacecraft.
