The manga Koe No Katachi was published from 2013 to 2014 and consists of 7 volumes. In 2014, the manga was nominated for the Manga Taisho award, and in 2015 for the Tezuka Osamu award, ultimately receiving the prize for Best New Manga. On September 17, a feature anime film based on it was released by Kyoto Animation studio.
