Five Quarters of the Orange

Framboise inherited from her mother an album of recipes — not much, considering that her brother Cassis received the farm, and her older sister Ren-Claude got the wine cellar with all its contents. But the whole trick is that in the margins of the album, next to the recipes for various dishes and herbal remedies, her mother wrote her thoughts and confessions about certain events in her life — in a word, she kept a kind of diary. And in this diary, Framboise tries to find answers to the dark mysteries of the past.
