Table Game - Glade

You will embark on a journey armed with a map, traveling through picturesque places, eager to find as many diverse plants as possible and observe animal behavior. And how can one not enjoy the incredible views around! Who will be... able to learn all the natural secrets and earn the title of experienced explorer? Off to explore the wilderness! And in the evening, when your feet feel pleasantly tired from miles of walking, light a big warming fire and share impressions of the day, trying to be the first to tell everyone about your discoveries!
How to play?
On your turn, by placing one of your tokens, the participant performs one of two actions: takes a card and optionally plays it or another card from their hand, or performs a special action that can lead the player to their goal.

There are several types of cards in the game: soil cards depicting ecosystems indicating the habitat of plants or animals, observation cards symbolizing players' travel notes, landscape cards depicting territories explored by travelers, as well as find cards depicting various items collected during the hike.

If certain conditions are met, observation and soil cards are played in the glade, while landscape and find cards are played in the surroundings.
By placing action tokens on the fire tablet, players perform special actions: they swap cards on the game board, lay roads in the surroundings, take one out of three cards from the deck, or play cards from their hand. Participants can also achieve goals by performing special actions and forming pairs from the cards available in the glade. All the aforementioned moves of the travelers earn them coveted victory points.
After all participants have used their action tokens, the end of the round is announced. Players take their tokens back and are ready to set off for exploring territories again.
In the middle of the game, after the fourth round, cards on the game board are discarded, decks are exchanged, and new cards are revealed.
Who won?
After the eighth round, the game ends. It’s time to find out who speaks the language of nature and can easily name any plant. In other words, points are counted based on the cards and bonus tokens at the fire. The naturalist who managed to outscore the others and collect the most points is declared the winner and the most experienced naturalist.

The set includes five envelopes with thematic cards. These card sets can be considered separate expansions. They expand the possibilities of gameplay and are recommended for experienced travelers. The rules also offer a single-player mode. In this case, the opponent will be a fictional character named Vagabond.
