The book "Expanded Picture" tells about the life and work of women who made outstanding contributions to art. All of them, from the forerunners of women's art to our contemporaries, fought for their voices to be heard, and their works irrevocably change our view of the world. Brief biographies of thirty-four female artists are accompanied by their portraits, reproductions of their major works, excerpts from their statements, as well as notes on how the modern art world is arranged.
