The Secret Garden. Level 2

The book contains an adapted text of the novel by the English writer F.H. Burnett. Mary Lennox is a very lonely girl and a spoiled but unloved child. After her parents die of cholera and the servants leave the house, she is sent to live with her uncle, who lives in a huge mansion. The girl's life begins to change when she learns about the existence of a mysterious garden, starts tending to it with new friends, and opens her heart to kindness and love. It is intended for those who are continuing to learn English at the lower level (level 2 – Pre-Intermediate).
