Good Wives is a continuation of the world-famous novel by American author Louisa May Alcott, Little Women. The four March sisters have grown up, and they have new concerns and challenges. Each of them is still surrounded by the love of their family, but now the grown young women are learning to make decisions, to make the right choices, to fall in love and start families, to find themselves, and to discover the world. The text of the novel is adapted for those continuing to study English at the intermediate level (Level 3 — Intermediate) and is accompanied by comments and a glossary to assist the reader. At the end of the book, exercises are provided for reading comprehension.
