Sexual Maniacs. Psychological Portraits and Motives

First published in the late 1980s, this book anticipates the rapid development of profiling methods. Specially trained FBI agents examined 36 convicted sexual maniacs to create profiles that reveal the world of the serial killer. The information was obtained from official psychiatric and criminal reports, court transcripts, as well as extensive conversations with the criminals themselves.
