Knights of Sidonia. Volume 2

The inhabitants of "Sidonia" continue to defend themselves against the giant Gauna aliens.
The top four pilots of the ship are sent on a combat mission, among them is Nagate Tanikaze, who has been entrusted with the control of the... legendary Guardian "Tsugumori".
To escape from the pursuit of the Gauna, the captain must give the order to execute an emergency acceleration maneuver, but this could result in casualties among the ship's population.
Meanwhile, Nagate finds himself faced with a similarly difficult choice: risking his own life, he tries to save a girl named Shizuka Hoshijiro, one of the first friends he made on "Sidonia".
