What a crazy striving!
Francis Crick (1916–2004) was a British molecular biologist, one of the most famous scientists of the 20th century, and a Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine (jointly with James Watson and Maurice Wilkins) for the discovery of the structure... of the DNA molecule. For the title of his scientific memoirs, Crick chose a quote from the poem of English Romantic poet John Keats, which perfectly describes the exalted atmosphere of scientific achievement. The book "What a crazy striving!", published in English in 1988, is now being released in Russian in a new translation.
