Alex Ferguson

In 1986, Alex Ferguson took charge of the not-so-successful English club "Manchester United" at the time and in the following years won 38 tournaments with them, including the Club World Cup, two Champions Leagues, 13 Premier League titles, and five FA Cups. With 49 various trophies, Ferguson is considered the most successful manager in British history. Knighted in 1999, Sir Alex announced his retirement from the "Manchester" coaching position at the end of the 2012/13 season, during which his team once again won the English Premier League. 
In his autobiography, Ferguson recounts how he came to "Manchester United" and began achieving first victories with the club, reminiscing about many brilliant players he coached over the years at the club, including David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Wayne Rooney. He does not hide the difficulties he faced with some players and also openly assesses his famous rival colleagues: Arsenal's manager Arsène Wenger, former Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez, and the master of provocation José Mourinho. 
This book is not only the story of a successful football coach, not only a look at modern football from a specialist who perhaps understands its essence better than anyone else, but also a portrait of an extraordinarily strong individual who knows well that without great disappointments, there are no great victories.
