The Ax Porridge. Porridge from an Axe

The book is part of the series of illustrated educational aids «Let's Read Together». In our adaptation of the Russian folktale, it tells the story of a boy who taught a greedy old woman a lesson because one must know how to share and help those in distress. After reading the fairy tale, the child will become familiar with the simple present tense (Present Simple), learn to use the words some and any, and also get acquainted with the phrase "pass me..., please". The publication is intended for students in grades 2-3 of schools and gymnasiums.
