The wife of Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy, Sofia Andreyevna (1844-1919), became just as legendary a figure during her husband's lifetime as he was. She was written about in newspapers, filmed by the pioneer of Russian cinema Alexander Drankov, and her image was captured in the first artistic films about the life of the "great Leo". Today, her figure continues to attract biographers, filmmakers, and theater figures. She lived with Tolstoy for nearly half a century, gave birth to thirteen children, and was his loyal companion and literary assistant. However, it was precisely due to the conflict with his wife that Tolstoy fled from Yasnaya Polyana in 1910. Writer and journalist, winner of the "Big Book" award, Pavel Basinskiy decided to write a book about Sofia Tolstoy in an unusual format - an online dialogue with poet and prose writer from Saint Petersburg, Ekaterina Barbanjaga.
