DECOLA Anti-Spread Ground for Silk Painting, 50ml Can

DECOLA anti-spread ground for silk based on water acrylic dispersion, in a 40 ml can. Designed to prevent acrylic paints from spreading on silk. Does not stiffen the fabric structure. It is recommended to check the strength of the image fixation with the ground on a fabric sample according to the instructions for use. Pre-wash, iron, and stretch the fabric on a frame or hoops. Apply the ground with a brush to the entire fabric or to specific areas where a clear pattern is needed. Allow to dry completely (2.5-3 hours). Mix the paint thoroughly and apply it to the product with a brush. It is recommended to apply more paint to the primed areas. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Iron the finished product for 5 minutes through a cotton cloth with an iron without steam, heated to the temperature for cotton. After 48 hours post-ironing, remove the ground from the silk by washing the product with mild detergents at a temperature from 30 °C to 40 °C without strong mechanical impact. Store the ground in a tightly closed container. Brushes and tools should be rinsed immediately after use with water.
