In the palette of oil paints of the "Ladoga" series, expensive inorganic pigments, such as cobalt and cadmium, have been replaced with lightfast organic pigments. The paints were made using carefully selected ratios of components, therefore the colors of the paints are similar to those based on more expensive cobalt and cadmium pigments. The earth colors of the ochre, sienna, and umber series also contain natural earth pigments. The colors of the "Ladoga" paints are similar to the colors of paints based on more expensive cadmium and cobalt pigments. In work, soft brushes made from synthetic materials, squirrel hair, and bristle can be used. The paints adhere well to the surface and have excellent mixability.
