The story of humanity states that any empire has its dawn and sunset. In the 9th century, the Carolingian Empire was already on a direct path leading to its inevitable decline and demise. But while disaster has not yet arrived, court architects and masters of architectural craft are trying to stand out in the eyes of their king, making every effort to create the most extraordinary and memorable structure. One such master is you.
In this game, to win, you will have to "twist": look for opportunities to acquire resources and all necessary building materials, send your workers to workshops to increase their productivity, hire new assistants, patrol the town square, and catch opponents' subjects red-handed, engaging in market manipulations. However, no one forbids you from secretly trying to work on "gray" schemes. But be careful, for if caught, you will sharply lose your authority in the eyes of the ruler, making victory in the game an absolutely unattainable mission. Will your risk be justified?
