150 years ago, men and women lived very differently. Women could not vote in elections and earn money. They were not always able to make decisions about their own bodies. Only when women united and began to fight for their rights did changes start to occur.

The Norwegian author Marta Breen and illustrator Jenny Jordahl created a comic that easily and clearly tells the story of the women's movement, its dramatic moments, and great victories in the struggle for freedom, equality, and sisterhood.

In Norway, the book was first published in March 2018, and its first print run sold out in a month. 

The book made it onto The Guardian's list of the Best Children's Books of 2018. The rights to publish the book have been sold in 20 countries - from Albania to the USA and Japan.
