A Study in Scarlet

In «A Study in Scarlet», the investigation begins with a murder in an empty house and a strange inscription on the wall. For the police, it is a set of disjointed details, while for the detective — a chain that can be reconstructed step by step. In «The Sign of the Four», Mary Morstan approaches him, having received anonymous pearls for many years and trying to understand what happened to her father. The search for answers leads to a mystery of treasure, old commitments, and a new crime.
