People Behind the Back. Volume 2

Oleg Shebalin, a former theater critic who now accompanies clients to the theater, comes to the agency «Vlast». His request seems almost hopeless: he needs to find a woman about whom he knows almost nothing. There is no address, phone number, or real surname. There are only vague meetings and a feeling that her disappearance is not accidental. The investigation leads to alarming discrepancies. The woman lived under false documents, and her past is linked to an old story where there were already victims. The further the case progresses, the clearer its scale becomes: behind a private order lies a chain of other people's decisions, mistakes, and crimes.
