Theater for Real

In the spotlight is the children's theater as a form of play, communication, and first acquaintance with the culture of the stage. The author addresses the rules and traditions of puppet theater, explaining how to prepare children for a performance and what to pay attention to during such an introduction. A separate place is occupied by the repertoire for productions: the publication includes plays for children's performances, as well as the story «Pillow for the Sun», familiar from the animated film and fairy tale of the same name. Another important part is related to the project «Tales in a Box». The book features four tales for this format, which allows for a small theatrical performance to be organized independently. Thanks to this combination, the publication goes beyond ordinary reading and becomes a convenient family and educational practice.
