The Veles Book

«The Veles Book» was written on wooden tablets in the 9th century AD by the sorcerer Yagaila Gana from Stargorod (Laden). It contains tales of the first gods and ancestors of the Slavs, recounting the history of many peoples of Eurasia from the era of the progenitors to the 9th century AD. This edition includes translations of ancient texts from the archives of «Museuma» A. I. Sulakadzev (St. Petersburg, 19th century), the Museum of Russian Culture and the journal «Firebird» by Y. P. Mirolubov (San Francisco, 1950s) and the Museum of Russian Runic Culture «Museuma» (Gelendzhik) by writer A. I. Asov. The translations have been refined compared to previous editions.
