Since Natsume inherited the Book of Friends from his grandmother Reiko, which gives him power over spirits, he returns the names written in it to their rightful owners day by day. After a movie, Natsume finds Mr. Natori's doll, which leads him to the old mansion of Takuma, a retired exorcist. It seems that his family is tormented by former servant spirits and is cursed with terrible misfortunes. Natsume and Natori take on the case and discover what lies behind this family tragedy.
