The First Monday of April

"The First Monday of April" — a multi-layered novel that intertwines several timelines and fates.

The prologue is titled «The Corpse in the Trash Bin»: indeed, around our time, a garbage collector in Tbilisi discovers a bloody man in a trash container. The story goes back into the past, and it needs to explain — who, how, why, and for what reason. The main character — one could say, a man without a definite occupation: a translator, a tour guide, an ambulance driver, and, as a side job, also a musketeer, returns from France to his native Tbilisi to sort out his feelings for a woman he loved in his youth and whom he has forgotten in a puzzling way.
