Joke about the lawn

Konstantin Lozinsky (1942–1996) — a writer unknown to the reader, a writer who did not exist. A graduate of the journalism faculty of Moscow State University and the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters, he is the author of two novels, several plays, short stories, and dozens of film scripts, most of which (primarily due to his total uncompromising nature and perfectionism) remained unfilmed. A similar fate befell Lozinsky's prose: in neither the 1960s nor the 1970s did his stories and novels coincide with the reviewers' notions in literary journals about what should and could appear on their pages. But he continued to write, retreating into a literary seclusion for a decade and a half; his sudden death interrupted years of work on the third novel, which the writer considered the main work of his life.
