This book is dedicated to the unique musician and poet Oleg Sakmarov, known primarily as the flutist of the cult rock bands "Aquarium" and "Nautilus Pompilius". However, Sakmarov's role in the cultural landscape of recent decades is not limited to his participation in even the greatest collectives. He has been the ideologist and inspirer of many brilliant rock albums, but has always remained an independent creative entity, the author of stunning solos in remarkable songs, and a creator of poems and compositions in various genres.
This book features an open ending. Oleg Sakmarov is still creatively active today—composing, singing, and performing numerous concerts, including as the leader of the band "Zharko". It is quite possible that the reader who closes the last page has already heard some of his entirely new works. One hopes that Oleg will still
create masterpieces about which more than one book can be written.
