The War of the Worlds

«The War of the Worlds» — a famous science fiction novel by H.G. Wells, written in 1897. The plot centers around the invasion of Martians on Earth. Aliens land in England from enormous cylinders, and they are more advanced than humanity. The Martians use three-legged fighting machines, heat rays, and black poisonous smoke to destroy everything in their path. The British Army is powerless against this might. Can humanity survive the Martian invasion?
