"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others".

In the early 1940s—several years before his masterpiece novel, "1984"—George Orwell wrote a "fairy tale" that was long deemed too recognizable and painful for publication, leading to its ban in several countries: its political allegory was too apparent. When the work was finally published in 1945, it achieved incredible success, received a number of unofficial sequels, and later influenced the works of writers such as C. S. Lewis and Margaret Atwood.

The animals of Manor Farm overthrow the farmer and create a society where all are equal. However, the new leaders, led by a pig named Napoleon, gradually rewrite the rules, and promises turn into lies… Will liberation lead to a new tyranny?

The collection also includes four of Orwell's essays: "The Bookshop Memories", "Why I Write", "Confessions of a Book Reviewer", and "Shooting an Elephant".
