Reference publications in Chinese were used during the work, in particular, "Zhen Jiu Da Ci Dian" (Great Dictionary of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, 1987), "Zhong Yi Da Ci Dian" (Great Dictionary of Chinese Medicine, 1995), as well as numerous commentaries and interpretations of concepts in Chinese medicine from various sources. The book describes various methods and techniques of acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping, the famous doctors' acupuncture techniques from antiquity, and provides methods for calculating "open" points according to the traditional Chinese calendar. The appendix contains translations from Chinese of several poetic works from classical books on acupuncture-moxibustion therapy. The book is written in an accessible language and contains a large volume of information that has not been published in Russian before. It will be useful for specialists engaged in traditional medicine, as well as for anyone interested in issues related to health maintenance.
