Brides in Uniform

Three women, three friends, three destinies. Similar in some ways, but very different in others. In the challenging post-war time for the country, Svetlana, Elena, and Tamara go to work in Wünsdorf, a group of Soviet troops in Germany. A chance encounter on a train with three young officers turns out to be fateful, and after some time, in the "closed city," as the Germans call the Soviet military garrison, three more married couples appear. But not everything is smooth in the friends' lives, and marrying a professional military man does not mean being protected like behind a stone wall. Unmet expectations, jealousy, the pain of loss, fear of the future — how to find inner balance and personal happiness despite all this? Each chooses her own way, her own path, but who among them will be lucky?..
