The Fragrance of a Transparent Night

Suffering from emotional trauma, twenty-five-year-old Itika Wakamiya completely withdraws into herself. She distances herself from her family, quits her job, and even leaves the house only to go to the nearest supermarket. However, the money in the girl's bank account is gradually running out, and Itika, having latched onto an ad in a store, becomes a housekeeper for Saku Ogawa, a talented perfumer capable of sensing or recreating any scent at the request of his extremely unusual clients. A widow wants to remember the smell of her deceased husband, a popular actress needs specific aromas for better immersion in her roles, and anxious parents ask the perfumer to find their missing daughter.
The scents created by Saku awaken memories, evoke emotions, and change lives, but the man himself remains lonely due to his extraordinarily sensitive sense of smell. And so, feeling a kinship of souls, Itika and Saku gradually begin to draw closer…
