Attention! This is an expansion; the base version "Serp" is required for play.

In the game "Serp", we play as one of the nations of Eastern Europe, but in an alternative version of history. The Great War has passed, and robots in heavy armor have become a part of everyday life. Now, states are fighting each other for markets, resources, and territories. You must lead your nation to victory by accumulating the largest capital by the end of the game.

The largest story expansion
Rise of Fenris is the last of three expansions for the base game "Serp". It adds 8 campaign episodes that narrate significant events in the game world and 11 modular elements. These can be used separately or combined with each other and any other expansions. One of the modules, for instance, allows for cooperative play (which wasn’t possible before!).

No spoilers
On the box, you will only read a brief description of the situation in the world – that the nations of Europe are still fighting among themselves, and somewhere very far away, strange soldiers with burning eyes have been seen, according to rumors. To learn everything else, you must go through the campaign story. Moreover, the developers emphasize the importance of keeping the mystery and ask you not to flip through the next pages of the booklet if you haven’t completed a certain episode yet. We are promised many surprises! At the same time, the game world remains very detailed, so the backstories of the episodes in the booklet can be read like a real book (all the rules take a total of 52 pages).

Who the game is for
Fans of the base game "Serp" will certainly appreciate this expansion. The intriguing plot of Rise of Fenris will also provide a great reason to play the main game. Fans of alternative history, giant robots, and Eastern European flavor will definitely enjoy the whole series! Additionally, for Russian players, there is a particularly nice point - one of the game nations, Russvet, is inspired by domestic history.
