White Xenoarchaeologist

Three years have passed since Sergey Svetlov — a former black xenoarchaeologist, now a senior lieutenant of the Space Fleet — discovered traces of ancient civilizations: the Nekkars, Muaorri, and Taedes. Now he heads the xenoarchaeology department of the Frontier Research Center and raises his daughter with his beloved wife, Lira. However, their happy life is disrupted by a mysterious artifact from the future indicating Lira's imminent demise. In an attempt to outsmart fate, Sergey takes actions that ultimately threaten not only humanity but nearly all intelligent races in the galaxy. The subsequent events will be a serious test for both Sergey's intellect and his faith.
