Mishneh Torah (Maimonides' Code). Book of Seeds

Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon (Rambam, 1138–1204) — the greatest Jewish sage of the post-Talmudic era: legislator, philosopher, scholar, and physician. His code Mishneh Torah (‘Repetition of the Teaching’), or Ha-Ya'd Ha-Chazaka, is one of the most important works of Jewish tradition. In the most extensive of his works, Rambam summarizes and systematizes the Talmudic tradition and presents the entirety of Jewish religious legislation — halakha — in an accessible form.
The eighth book of Mishneh Torah, ‘Seeds,’ includes ‘Laws of Mixtures,’ ‘Laws of Gifts to the Poor,’ ‘Laws of Terumah,’ ‘Laws of Tithe,’ ‘Laws of Second Tithe and Plantings of the Fourth Year,’ ‘Laws of First Fruits and Other Gifts to the Priesthood within the Land of Israel,’ and ‘Laws of Shemitah and Jubilee.’ It is published in Russian for the first time in full, in an accurate modern translation and with detailed commentary.
