Oblivion

Stricken by an incurable disease, Elhanan Rosenbaum involuntarily becomes a witness to how his own memory leaves him – memories of his childhood in a Romanian town in the Carpathians, of the ghettos and deportations, memories of his beloved wife and the struggle for Israel's independence. Soon, he will turn into a man without roots, without a past. His son Malkiel goes to Romania to, as he thinks, save his father's memory, to see everything for himself.
