The atlas of human anatomy, prepared by renowned anatomists - Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor D.B. Nikityuk, and Professors S.V. Klochkova and N.T. Alekseeva, continues the traditions of similar publications (atlases by R.D. Sinelnikov and M.R. Sapin), covering the complete course of human anatomy, examining the human body in detail and scrupulously from anatomical perspectives based on a systematic principle. At the same time, this atlas, along with the classical interpretation of anatomical material, is unique in its significantly greater correspondence to modern scientific standards and applied focus compared to analogues, including data from high-tech studies of various organs and areas of the body (computed tomography, ultrasound research data, nuclear magnetic resonance, electron microscopy, etc.). The atlas of human anatomy combines a textual part with illustrative material, thoroughly covering all sections of anatomy. High-quality color illustrations are supplemented with explanatory captions in three languages (Russian, Latin, English), in which anatomical objects are presented in accordance with the modern International Anatomical Terminology (TA2, 2024). The information is presented in detail, at a high professional level, fully in line with high modern educational requirements and standards, but without unnecessary detail. The authors pay significant attention to the topographic-anatomical (clinical) approach, examining the syntopy of organs, vessels, and nerves in different areas of the body; the anatomy of practically significant interstitial spaces is also covered in detail.
