The atlas of human anatomy, prepared by renowned anatomists — corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor D. B. Nikityuk and Professors S. V. Klochkova and N. T. Alexeyeva, continues the traditions of similar publications (atlases by R. D. Sinel'nikov and M. R. Sapin), covering the complete course of human anatomy, thoroughly and meticulously examining the human body from anatomical positions according to a systematic principle. At the same time, this atlas, alongside the classical interpretation of anatomical material, is unique for its significantly greater compliance with modern scientific standards and applied orientation compared to its analogs, including data from high-tech studies of various organs and areas of the body (computed tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging data, etc.).
