The Magus

Young teacher Nicholas Erfe flees from the grayness of life and a dangerous infatuation to the island of Fraxos in Greece. There he falls under the influence of a mysterious millionaire, Maurice Conchis. The "Magus" launches a performance. At dinner, the ghost of his deceased fiancée appears. A satyr rushes by, chasing a nymph... Nicholas Erfe, like Orpheus, must descend into Hell, overcome temptations, and save his Eurydice.

The boundaries between actors and spectators, stage and reality blur. What is it? A performance, a psychological experiment, or a refined torture? The whole truth will be revealed to those who reach the very end.
