Garlic Ballads

A paradise place — our glorious district of Tian'tan, where the most delicious garlic sprouts are grown. But something has gone wrong: local cooperatives refuse to buy the rich harvest from garlic farmers, prices have fallen, dreams of a better future have collapsed, and dissatisfied fellow villagers have smashed the district administration... What happened afterwards — and what was before — such open lawlessness seemingly out of nowhere? And most importantly: who will pay in full accordance with the law for the garlic rebellion?
