Moscow and Muscovites

The book "Moscow and Muscovites" is the most famous work of Vladimir Alexeyevich Gilyarovsky, a Russian writer and journalist. Gilyarovsky was undoubtedly one of the brightest and most colorful figures in Moscow at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. For his kindness and responsiveness, he was called "Uncle Gilya"; for his talent as a journalist, he was known as the "King of Reporting." I. E.
