I have somewhat settled into the academy of Tirn-a-Torn. And I've come to terms with the fact that dangerous trials await us at every turn: we are being prepared for a fight not for life, but for death. I have dealt with those who tormented me, learned to defend myself. But the hardest part is figuring out who is a friend and who is an enemy. Someone wants me dead. And while there is still time, I must understand why. Is it because in their eyes I am the daughter of a traitor? Or is there another reason? Only my sworn enemy, my commander with eyes as cold as ice, can save me… or ruin me. Will I be able to survive and clear my father's name of slander?
