The Deal

To save my only brother from death, I, Count Dmitry Volkovsky, am forced to make a dishonorable deal: to go to a girls' boarding school in a remote taiga and find a girl there. Her name is Katerina, she is an orphan and has spent her entire life in the wilderness. However, strange and frightening things are happening around the boarding school, and I am increasingly tormented by the question: who and why is paying gold for a dubious deal, and most importantly — what secret is Katerina herself hiding?
