Igor. The Root of the Lineage

The novel "Igor. The Root of the Lineage" is the third in a series of narratives about the early Novgorod-Kiev princes during the formation and development of the Russian principality in the 9th-10th centuries. The reader is already familiar with the novels "Rurik. The Flight of the Falcon" and "The Runes of the Prophetic Oleg".

Prince Igor, later called Old, laid his stone in the foundation of the Russian principality, valiantly defended it, and strengthened it, losing nothing of what had been previously conquered by his father Rarog-Rurik and uncle Oleg the Prophet. He began the dynasty of the Rurikids, who ruled in Russia for more than six hundred years.
