Is it possible to break free from the "city of death," leaving it behind forever?

Student Polina studies in Siberia, having come there from a lovely and exotic town in Central Asia, where her childhood took place. However, this town has a frightening peculiarity: young people often die there. Polina's mother keeps a sinister family secret, and the girl herself harbors a personal secret, also shrouded in death.

Maybe that's why she has such bad luck? Or perhaps it's all Saratone's fault?
Trying to change her fate, Polina desperately fights for happiness, while the country rapidly spirals into chaos after the collapse of the Union.
The heroine's journey to find herself is convoluted: it is full of dead ends and mistakes. But in this story, as in life, there is room for both falls and rises, light sadness, love, and wonder.
