Cinema Radiation. The Unauthorized Story of the Kino Band

Around the history of the band "Kino", probably, hundreds of books have been written, a mass of photo albums released, and dozens of films made. Rock critic and writer Alexander Kushnir felt that these numerous studies are only the tip of the invisible iceberg. And, as often happens in life, the most interesting part remained underwater. In the process of researching the biographies of Sergey Kuryokhin, Mike Naumenko, and Ilya Kormiltsev, the author conducted a multitude of interviews with rock musicians, sound engineers, photographers, producers, and friends of the leader of "Kino", Viktor Tsoi. This is how the book "CINEMA RADIATION" arose – an adventurous story of a self-taught musician's rise, ten fiery years lived in one breath. From punk adventures in the bands "Automatic Satisfiers" and "Garin and the Hyperboloids" to great underground albums of "Kino" and stadium tours across the country.
