Tabletop Game - Bloodborne. Burgenwert (Expansion)

"Bloodborne. Burgenwert" is a narrative expansion for the tabletop game Bloodborne, opening a new campaign set in the ancient University of Burgenwert. This place has long been abandoned and is surrounded by mysteries; however, it is here that the keys to understanding the nature of blood, madness, and truths not meant for the human mind lie hidden.
Hunters will have to venture into the heart of forgotten knowledge, where under the cover of silence and desolation, horrors that have forever changed Yharnam are concealed.

What does the expansion add?
The expansion includes a full new campaign with unique scenarios, enemies, and a final boss. Players will explore the territories of the university, encounter twisted creatures, and gradually uncover the influence of Burgenwert and its founders, including Master Willem.
As the hunters progress, they will face increasingly dangerous manifestations of experiments related to forbidden knowledge and ancient blood, as well as new mechanics and threats that heighten the tension of the campaign.

Enemies and bosses
Formless Students: Twisted beings capable of stretching their bodies for long-range attacks and using acidic secretions, posing a threat in the narrow corridors of the university.
Garden of Eyes: Dangerous creatures attacking with destructive power and capable of inflicting Madness status, driving the hunters to the brink of sanity.
Child of Rom: Fury-fueled guardians attacking without fear and willing to sacrifice themselves to protect their source.
Rom, the Vacuous Spider: A giant creature with powerful ranged attacks, capable of summoning ice shards, forcing hunters to constantly move. It is accompanied by "children" - smaller copies that increase pressure on the players in battle.

Story of the expansion
The University of Burgenwert occupies a special place in the world of Bloodborne. It is here that Master Willem and his followers studied the nature of blood and sought to approach the truth hidden beyond human perception. Their research led to discoveries that changed the fate of Yharnam, but the price of this knowledge proved catastrophic.
Quote from Master Willem: "We are born of blood, raised by blood, die by blood. We must open our eyes… Fear the ancient blood" - reflects the essence of what lies hidden within the walls of Burgenwert.
