The Hundredth Execution

Mergan, the new executioner of Nuremberg, arrives in the city to deal with a killer known as the Black Cook. Her sword has already severed ninety-nine heads, but the hundredth execution proves to be fateful. Instead of killing the alleged criminal, her blade grants life — and chains her to the beheaded necromancer! Now, the unwilling partners must find the real criminal and restore justice before they themselves are caught as accomplices of evil.
