«The Unusual Journey of Ordinary People» – this is a story filled with adventures, humor, and reflections.

I can't claim to know the meaning of human life, but in my opinion, one of its purposes is to choose a goal and move towards it. Upon reaching one goal, another is set, then another. If they are not random, it is called a system of goals, an element of the life Path. It is important what goals we set for ourselves, what methods we use to achieve them, and what we leave behind.

This book describes a journey and the overcoming of difficulties. The goal is Komodo Island, a reserve in the Indonesian archipelago where giant monitor lizards, fearsome predators, reside.

Our main characters are a couple, passionate about biology and the study of nature. On their way, they encounter curious and sometimes dangerous obstacles. 

Different people are met along the way. The book contains many memories, funny and sad stories, and reflections.
